Zhodnocení investičních variant na akciových trzích

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the evaluation of one-off and regular investments in global stock markets. The selected methods for regular investments are dollar cost averaging and value cost averaging. In the first part of the thesis the investment methods are described theoretically, and the scientific studies dealing with the evolution of investment methods are introduced. In the second part the comparison of investment strategies in the particular investment horizons of the selected stock markets is made. The comparison is made on the basis of the historical values of stock indexes. The final part is devoted to the presentation of the results attained and their discussion with other authors' similar themes. The particular recommendations for investors are also stated in the work.

Diploma thesis is focused on testing of investments methods dollar cost averaging and one-time investment of selected mutual funds in years 2004 - 2014. Literature review describe terms which are related with issues of collective investments. Practical part is focused on analysis and comparison investment methods, comparison selected benchmarks indexes with equity mutual funds and comparison currency risk with fixed currency. In conclusion there are recommendations for using of investment methods one - time investment and dollar cost averaging.

The main goal of this work is to simplify the plethora of information on the topic of investment and formulate them into a form, that is understandable for the normal investor. Thus, the investor gets the theoretical framework to find appropriate product, or a way to to invest in capital markets. Partial aim is to highlight the pitfalls associated with investing, define essential factors necessary for the proper choice of each investment and give specifics of individual investment instruments. Last but not least, simulations of selected investment instruments, assessing their development along with identification key factors having influence on the result of investment.
